On an iPhone or iPad

On an iPhone or iPad running iOS 10 or 9, the latest version of the Picture Keeper Connect app will prompt you to update the firmware.   Please allow the update, so that your Picture Keeper Connect will work when you upgrade to iOS 11.  It only takes a few seconds. If you have already updated to iOS 11, you have two options.  You can install the latest Picture Keeper Connect app on any other device running iOS 10 or 9 (a friend or family member's device - no login required) to complete the firmware update.  Again, it only takes a few seconds.  You can also update the firmware on a Windows or Mac computer.  See the next sections for details.

On a Windows computer

Download the firmware updater tool here: PKConnectFWUpdate.exe Follow these simple steps: 1. Find the PKConnectFWUpdate.exe file in your Downloads folder or desktop. 2. Open PKConnectFWUpdate.exe 3. Plug in your Picture Keeper Connect 4. Close the AutoPlay popup (if it appears) 5. Click the "Fix" button, and look for the "Fix Success" message

That's it! You can now close the updater tool, eject your Picture Keeper Connect drive, and use it with your iOS 11 iPhone or iPad again.

On a Mac computer

We have a firmware updater tool that is compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 and up. Please contact us if you have a Mac computer and need the firmware update.  We will help you through the quick and easy process. If you have access to a Windows computer or an iPhone or iPad running iOS 10 or 9, please use one of the options above.
