#MyFavoritePhoto

For this week’s #MyFavoritePhoto story, we interviewed Shawney Moore, a Picture Keeper User from Lancaster, CA.

Shawney, mom of 6-month-old baby Graham, reveals what it was like on the day her son was born – and her story is ADORABLE! (almost as adorable as baby Graham, almost!)

1. When and where was the above photo taken?

“Marietta, GA.”

2. When was this photo taken?

“This photo was taken the day my son was born, New Years Eve 2016.”

3. Where was this photo taken?

“Kennestone Hospital”

4. What memories does it bring back to you?

“While I was pregnant, it was hard to believe that I was actually going to have a baby. I spent so much time preparing for him, but couldn’t picture how my life was going to change once he was born. The emotions that I felt the first time I laid eyes on my baby were indescribable. I had always been told that nothing compares to the love you feel for your child, and I finally understood that. He was so perfect and tiny and I couldn’t believe he was mine. It truly felt like a miracle. I look back at this photo and think about everything that has happened since that day. It has been a whirlwind adventure, and I can’t imagine my life any other way.”

5. Why is this your favorite photo?

“I love this photo because it is of the most important day of my life. My son has grown and changed so much since this photo was taken, which was only six short months ago. I can’t believe how fast time has gone by since he was born, and this picture reminds me to cherish every moment. I am so lucky that I get to be a mom to this perfect little boy, and no matter how crazy life gets, I am so thankful for that.”
