Marketing Coordinator (Events, Social and PR)

 

Job Summary:
Simplified IT Products is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support our Picture Keeper product line. The ideal candidate will have previous experience setting up and selling at consumer shows and when not attending a show, can manage the PR and Social Media administration tasks.

Some of the responsibilities include:

 

  • Assist with the marketing calendar: The overall yearly planning and running of the marketing and communication schedule
  • Assists with branding and messaging
  • Assists in the development of a long-term branding strategy
  • Manages social media channels - engagement
  • Develops social media messaging and content
  • Develops blog schedule and calendar
  • Writes two blog posts a week for picturekeeper.com
  • Writes press releases to media, bloggers and social media influencers and maintains contacts with them
  • Coordinates and attends public selling events and tradeshows
  • Manages tradeshow media coverage, photography, video
  • Drives tradeshow promotion and show special pricing
  • Web advertising, co-op marketing campaigns with bloggers, trade industry sites
  • Works with event planners on promotional planning and event coordination
  •  

    Education and/or Experience Required

     

  • Experience managing and administering a corporate web site and web portal for customers from a marketing perspective
  • Prior experience in building a company's marketing and brand
  • Ability to work with senior management and create marketing strategies
  • Experience working with an IT company to spearhead marketing IT projects
  • Prior experience in working with CRM systems
  • Should have executed successful marketing campaigns (show examples and proof)
  • Ability to measure marketing efforts and report on ROI of marketing efforts
  • Experience with marketing administrative work
  • Ability to market through Social Media
  • Experience in Google Analytics a big plus (how to report Google reports)
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization is a plus from a marketing angle (what keywords to use, when to use, where to use)
  • Proficiency with use of blogging in a marketing capacity
  • Prior experience with writing blog content (show examples)
  • Prior experience with writing press releases (show examples)

    E-commerce Controller

     

    Job Summary:
    Simplified IT Products is seeking a Controller with E-commerce experience to support our operations in Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a CPA and/or MBA and 8 or more years of public accounting experience (Big four firm experience preferred). The Controller will be responsible for financial reporting including corporate accounting policies and external audit oversight.

    Channel Development Manager

     

    Job Summary:
    Candidate should have 3+ years of experience selling/marketing consumer mobile or technology products or services through traditional retail or online marketplace channels. Must have a strong drive to succeed and be focused on achieving sales objectives and driving new business and marketing opportunities. Creativity and determination are necessary skills.

    Some of the responsibilities include:

     

  • Manage current sales channels and prospect for new potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face-to- face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking and research.
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Report on sales activity.
  • Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions.
  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.
  • Work with delivery teams to proactively address problems.
  • Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns.
  • Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation.
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings.
  • Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop improve sales tools.
  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace.
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.

    Base Pay plus commission and strategic objectives bonuses.


    Education and/or Experience Required

     

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail, B2C or sales/marketing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Comfortability with business relationships outside of the USA.
  • Basic financial and sales analysis comprehension.
  • Self starter.
  • Energetic...VERY positive.
  • Avoids roadblocks and figures out how to make things happen/get things done.
