Our Partnership with DECA at Carlton J. Kell High School

At Picture Keeper, we love investing in the dreams of young minds. For this reason, we’ve created opportunities like our scholarship program and, now, a DECA partnership with Carlton J. Kell High School.

DECA is an international association created to prepare high school and college students for professional roles in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Michael Chasteen, Marketing Teacher and DECA Advisor at Kell High School, has envisioned a great future for their program. As part of their membership, students operate the school cafe, school store, and more in order to gain hands-on experience with operating a business. Chasteen aims to provide his students with as many real-world opportunities as possible.

At Kell High School, the DECA program aims for its students to compete and win DECA competitions in hopes their program will be recognized as the marketing department of the Kell Community. The competitions and partnerships with local businesses allows Kell High School to ultimately set up their students for successful careers beyond the classroom.

We are excited to provide opportunities to selected DECA students to learn about our business and the everyday operations behind Picture Keepers’ product production/fulfillment and digital marketing.
