Position Overview

The Shopify eCommerce Manager will be a hands-on, creative, data-driven individual who owns, operates and is accountable for the daily performance of picturekeeper.com and related sub-domains.

The selected candidate should have experience managing the daily operations and administration of a Shopify site. The candidate will have a broad eCommerce skill set that draws from sales, marketing, operations, and business analytics experience. The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about eCommerce marketing and enjoys working with a team in a fast paced environment. An individual who is ultra organized and is a highly effective communicator will excel in this role.



Major Duties & Responsibilities:


Site Administration and Reporting

Review picturekeeper.com orders daily with a focus on the following areas:

    • Fraud Prevention
    • Return Prevention
    • Minimize Customer Support Calls
Regularly monitor Shopify App usage / cost with focus on utilizing the most efficient apps for our site and identifying new apps to improve performance.

Create, monitor and manage all discount codes for picturekeeper.com.
Manage all SKU’s on picturekeeper.com with a focus on the following areas:
  • Develop a process to organize SKU’s on picturekeer.com that will allow for efficient and clear sales reporting.
  • Communicate regularly with finance and fulfillment departments to enable efficient and accurate inventory tracking from all SKU’s sold on picturekeeper.com.
  • Coordinate with the fulfillment team when launching new SKU’s on picturekeeper.com to prevent fulfillment issues.

Manage (daily) the picturekeeper.com Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager accounts with a focus on the following areas:
  • Audit GA / GTM accounts to identify + resolve all analytics reporting issues to ensure that the sales/marketing numbers reported are accurate. Identify and manage a partner to resolve all issues as needed.
  • Manage GA / GTM accounts and monitor daily to ensure that the sales/marketing numbers reported are accurate.
  • Establish all KPI’s that need to be reported for picturekeeper.com and develop a data dashboard to report KPI’s.

Aggressively monitor product reviews with a focus on the following areas:
  • Identify, implement and manage (daily) a product review program for picturekeeper.com.
  • Develop and implement a plan to address negative reviews.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to build the number of reviews for all SKU’s.
Develop and implement a Communication Plan for site outages and technical issues.

Monitor eCommerce industry and Shopify news, platform updates and industry trends daily with a focus on the following areas:
  • Update picturekeeper.com with all required and/or recommended platform updates.
  • Keep the leadership team updated on all relevant eCommerce technology trends.
  • Evaluate business opportunities and recommend new website initiatives.

Regularly communicate (meetings, emails and Slack) with Management, Fulfillment, Inventory Planning and customer Care departments about site status, features, updates and promotions.

Actively assign and monitor permissions/roles across all Shopify stores.
Website Marketing/Sales

Create highly functional Product Display Pages (PDP) that showcase and sell products and serve mobile customers with relevant information quickly.

Develop, implement and manage a promotional calendar for picturekeeper.com.

Using optimization tools (Google Optimize, CrazyEgg, Optimizely, etc.), design and conduct “A-B”/split tests on buttons, elements, copy, flows, merchandising, etc. on both Desktop and Mobile views with intense focus on mobile view + optimization.

Serve as the daily account manager with agencies, contractors and contractors for the following picturekeeper.com marketing partnerships:
  • Site Optimization o SEO
  • PPC / Google Shopping
  • Affiliate Traffic
  • All Other Growth/Revenue Initiatives

Regularly monitor, report and be accountable for picturekeeper.com revenue goals.
Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, digital communications or relevant degree. MBA and/or PMI certification preferred.

3+ years’ experience in ecommerce with a consumer goods brand, eCommerce company, or eCommerce tool vendor.
Proven experience maintaining daily operations for a profitable Shopify site.

Advanced knowledge (maintaining, reporting and navigating) of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager platforms.
A working knowledge of SEO, SEM, Paid ads, and UX/UI, and how content is shared and digested across the spectrum of digital media.
Entrepreneurial spirit with excellent documentation, communication and leadership skills.

  • Serving mobile users, understanding mobile use cases, and mobile best practices
  • Growing a B2C Shopify site (traffic + revenue)

Schedule

Monday-Friday - 8:30am-5:30pm. Shopify eCommerce Specialist role requires additional time outside of regular hours of Monday-Friday - 8:30am-5:30pm.

No offsite or remote candidates will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Marietta, GA.

Compensation & Benefits

Yearly Salary (paid bi weekly) – $60,000+ (depends on experience)

This position will be available for Group Medical, 401k with 6% match!, 15 days per year Paid Time-Off (PTO) (PTO limitations during Holiday times), Performance Based Bonus Program and Team Building. Benefits begin the first day of the month ​following 30 days of employment.
